So, you've done all of your homework and have decided that a chinchilla will be just the right addition to your family. Great! Listed here you will find all of our chinchillas who are available for adoption.

Smeagol & Gandalf

Smeagol (the little gray guy) and Gandalf (the fluffy white guy) are a pair of bonded males.  They came to us from a nice lady who was moving and couldn't take them with her.  They are each slightly older than a year and have wonderful temperments.  They are not opposed to being held, although they are a bit shy.  Smeagol is the inquisitive brother, whereas Gandalf always seems to be on the lookout.  Smeagol and Gandalf have been vet checked and are in good health.

Heidi & Inge

Heidi and Inge are a mother/daughter pair.  Heidi was surrendered to us along with her mate, Till from a shelter in New Jersey.  Upon entering into the rescue it became apparent that Heidi was pregnant, VERY pregnant.  A few short weeks later, Heidi gave birth to her kits.  Her son, Sig, went on to live with his father, Till-- these little guys have already secured themselves a good home.  Now it's Heidi and Inge's turn!  These girls are spirited and as feisty as they come.  Inge is not too crazy about being held, but Heidi is happy to jump right out of the cage to play.  They are very energetic and friendly.  Heidi and Inge have been vet checked and have no medical issues.

Abagail, Noele, & Rebekkah

Abagail, Noele, and Rebekkah are a bonded trio of females-- that is to say that they all must go to the same home and not be seperated.

Abagail came into the rescue along with her mate Liam. Abagail was pregnant and gave birth to Noele and Rebekkah while here in the rescue! We've known these little girls since they were born and they are just the sweetest little fatties, please feel free to email us for more pictures of these girls.

 

Jack & Speedy

If you've visited the Monty's Place website before you may have noticed this pair on our 'Successful Adoptions' page. Unfortunately, Jack and Speedy's new mommy had to relocate and was unable to take Jack and Speedy along. Needless to say, we were more than happy to take these little guys back into the rescue.

Jack and Speedy are 13 years old and a considered special needs chinchillas. If they are to be adopted out we NEED to know that their new home will be a secure and unchanging one. If you think these little guys are right for you, please let us know. They are just the sweetest little ones and deserve a real doting home to spend the rest of their days.
